A half-day masterclass designed to increase students’ confidence ahead of secondary and sixth form interviews. Students will learn to think quickly and communicate effectively under pressure.

Students will be put through their paces and learn to think on the spot — forming and articulating ideas.
These are vital skills for any competitive school interview interview.
Each student will come away with written feedback, a course booklet, and post-course exercises.

Secondary school
Students will gain tips from seasoned Winchester dons and housemasters, learning how to think quickly and communicate effectively under pressure. Over the half day session, students will be led in small groups and undergo a 1:1 mock interview, coming away with written feedback, a course booklet, and post-course exercises.

Sixth form
Learn to feel confident in unfamiliar situations with this half-day session. Through scenario-based discussions and group work, students will be assessed on their ability to prepare and demonstrate resourcefulness and ambition for their subject. Each student will also take part in a 1:1 mock interview and receive feedback, along with a course booklet and pre- and post-session exercises. By the end, they'll have practical tools and self-reflection skills to approach values-based questions more confidently.
